Saw Columbiana this afternoon with K-fed. Not impressed. Good action, completely improbable story from the side of the police/government forces in the film. Zoey Saldana is gorgeous, and she could probably carry a movie if given the right script. This ain't it. It wasn't really awful, but wasn't really worth our time, either. We should have watched Don't Be Afraid Of The Dark instead. My rating: 1.5 out of 4
I made this for dinner tonight, along with some of this. I have to say, bread was fantastic, although I might make it with mozzarella instead of Parmesan next time, and use a little more butter. And the soup was delicious, especially with the bread dunked in it. Also, I've never made bread before--it was kind of fun, but the waiting KILLED me. It smelled so good while baking that I wanted to tear into the oven and eat it right then.
We went to my dad's campground for the weekend and had a great time with him and my step-mom. It's always good to see them both, and it's nice to be able to just relax without having to worry about doing the dishes, or vacuuming, or homework, or.... you get the point. They have a camp cat that they feed regularly, and his name is Tiger. He's extremely friendly and well behaved, which leads me to believe he's actually someone's outdoor cat. The campground is in Howell, which is also where the Tanger outlets are. We stopped at the Old Navy Outlet to get Kevin a couple more shirts. More shirts means less chance of me having to look at that awful brown polo he owns. I hate that shirt.
I have to go back to work tomorrow after having three days off. Boo.
