Holy crap!

Last month I got to see Patton Oswalt at the Traverse City Comedy Arts Festival, and let me tell you--it was awesome. He's absolutely hilarious, and we were about 6 rows from the stage, it was awesome. We also got to sit right behind Garrett and Sarah, who we went with, so that was cool. The day after was a Coen Brothers film fest, with the ACTUAL ORIGINAL FILM COPIES of "O Brother, Where Art Thou?" and "Fargo", all for $10. If we didn't have to come back from Traverse City that night, we could have stayed for the other two movies they were showing ("Raising Arizona" and "Big Lebowski").

Tonight, we're headed to Grand Rapids to see Margaret Cho, who is my favorite female comic. No, really, I wrote a 15 page cultural analysis on her work for my Critiquing Mass Media class. She's awesome. I'm also looking forward to seeing Amanda V-H and her hubby!

"'Spongebob is gay!' Spongebob is a sponge. Obviously transsexual."

In other news, I ripped a cuticle at work last night, and had a "Black Swan" moment. Guh.
