... that I am doing for work as part of the "Learning 2.0 @ Your CRDL"; #3 is "start a blog and learn about blogging".
Since I've got a blog, and I know about blogging, here are my thoughts about the "7 1/2 Habits of Lifelong Learners" presentation:
~I like that it is recognized that not all learning occurs in a classroom or traditional academic setting. Learning can occur while participating in a hobby, a sport, or whenever.
~A habit to acquire according to the presentation is accepting responsibility for your own learning. This includes (but is not limited to) ASKING. As a person that has trained others before in various job capacities, I dislike when people do things wrong because they didn't ask. I would rather someone ask me how to do something 5 times than never ask and then I have to correct their mistake. Asking for help is not something to be feared.
In other news, we are dog sitting for the cutest freakin' dog on the planet. Meet Pooky.
